About Me
I have been a KS1 class teacher for 2 years. I am a positive and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for making learning fun and worthwhile as I believe children learn best when they are engaged and enjoying themselves. I am energetic and approachable and accommodate for all children and learners. I have experience with challenging behaviours and children with special educational needs. I have supported and worked with children who have gaps in their learning due to COVID and have developed a love for learning within them.
My Experience
I have worked in year 2 for both years and have experience in the expected standards for end of key stage 1 SATS and standards. I have experience with passing the phonics screening check and children who need extra support with boosting reading, maths and writing skills. I also have worked at children's holiday camps and day care. I have lead a drama group for teenagers with special educational needs. I also have experience with teaching children who struggle to focus and remain on task.
