Hello, I am Amber a 24 year old girl from England who moved to Glasgow last year. I am currently completing my masters in Environmental Science at the University of Glasgow. My friends would describe me as being very positive and friendly. Theres no one I wouldn't want to talk to and my seven years of hospitality experience has taught me to be polite and welcoming to everyone. I often find the best in most situations and like to make the most of my day by being outside or creative. I am confident and like to experience new things, whether that be a new hobby or trying new foods.
My Experience
I have experience in childcare that started when I use to babysit for local families in my area from the age of 14. I then went on to work in an after school club where we helped children aged 8-12 with their maths, English, and Science work. After college I moved to Amsterdam where I set up a small childminding business and helped look after children in local families, my duties included doing the school run morning and evening and overnight stays when necessary. In 2019 I went to Camp America, I was a camp counsellor for the youngest girls (aged 8-10) and was head of camping for the Camp. Last summer I Au paired for an Italian family for three months, the children were 5 and 8 year olds and I really enjoyed the experience.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Geology and Physical Geography and I am completely a masters in Environmental science. I have several DBS checks and have done basic first aid training during camp America.
