About Me
I am a fully qualified, friendly and experienced teacher with a good knowledge of curricula and how to support and accelerate a pupil’s progress. I have loved classroom teaching for many years, but revel in the rate of progress that can be achieved in 1:1 and small group tutoring.
Whether you’re looking for one-off tuition in the run up to an exam or regular sessions to build academic confidence and supplement in-school or home-based learning, I will plan and provide tailor-made sessions in an approachable and relaxed setting.
My Experience
I have 15 years classroom teaching experience and have planned and adapted teaching for a number of different Special Educational Needs.
I am also a mum of 4 children myself so understand that that first tuition session can be daunting for children and parents alike so I always welcome you both in so you can get to know me and the setting and discuss your tutoring needs before going ahead with the first lesson.
My Qualifications
First Class BA(Ed) in Education from Durham University
Qualified Teacher Status with 15 years experience.
Full enhanced DBS.
Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid.

My rate is £35 per hour but I offer the following discounts for pre-paid pre-booked packs:
£165 for 5 sessions (£10 discount)
£320 for 10 sessions (£30 discount)
