Hi there! I am a personable, empathetic, experienced, DBS-checked childcare provider who has recently moved to Falmouth. I currently babysit an 18 month old on a weekly basis and would love to take on other childcare work in my area. I am also currently employed as a biology/science tutor and am undertaking a part-time Master's degree in Evolutionary and Behavioural Ecology. I enjoy being outside, swimming, reading, cooking, and spending time with my niece and nephew.
I find joy in being in nature: be it trips to the beach, birdwatching, or going for a walk in the woods. I believe teaching children about the environment around them stimulates their curiosity, creativity, and empathy. I strive to create a warm and nurturing environment that fosters a love for nature in young minds and allows them to feel valued, respected, and loved.

My Experience
I have over 5 years of experience as a childcare provider, including professional babysitting, babysitting for (copious!) family members, and working as a teaching assistant in an Early Years Foundation setting. I have also taught at a university (on the Galapagos Islands!), where my role included teaching weekly ESL classes for children aged 6-12. Additionally, I have been working as a tutor for over 3 years, assisting students of various ages with their biology/science education.
