I’m Alishba, I can offer my expert skills and knowledge with my continuous experience within the NHS, Community based and Government Organisations including school within the recent years. I’ve also graduated and moving forward to independent Research degree.

My Experience

I currently work at Dixon’s McMillan where I work directly with SEN and behavioural students to talk and understand the root causes of their individual needs to ensure the appropriate support is provided within school. This role has allowed me to have a deeper and compassionate approach towards understanding the traumas and challenges of individuals which has helped many to improve their learning significantly while strengthening relationships with peers to create valued friendship groups. I work closely with teaching staff as well as supporting staff to support students across the Secondary age range from Year 7 – Year 11 who are struggling with engagement in lessons and showing Behavioural challenges in the classroom. Furthermore, I conduct interventions daily such as “ Social Stories” and “friendship groups” . These take place to support with their wellbeing and promote positive behaviour.
