I’m a student and native English speaker who just wants to help others as I was once helped while growing up. I am the middle child in a big family, so being caring and compassionate comes easily to me.
My Experience
I volunteered for the Junior Vets after-school Club led by the Royal Veterinary College at Lea Valley Primary School and Lancasterian Primary School. I assisted and engaged the students in activities such as learning about the skeletal structure of animals, using medical equipment, like a stethoscope, analysing X-rays, and practising suturing and bandaging. Compassion, empathy, and patience were essential to ensuring the best experience for the children.
I have two younger siblings, one in primary school and one in secondary school, which I had the pleasure to take care of and have aided in their development. I also have experience babysitting other people’s children for a few years now.
I previously worked as a tutor using the PeerTutor app, supporting learners to do assignments as they prepare for their GCSEs.
