About Me
I am a 21 year old female, recent graduate of a BSc Biomedical Science degree. I am currently looking for babysitting/childminding opportunities as I would like to gain more experience working with children in their own environment. I have experience working with children in primary and secondary school setting, as well as SEN and care work experience. I have been DBS checked. I am interested in studying developmental psychology and the Montessori and Steiner-Waldorf education approaches which are meant to encourage independence in children.
My Experience
I have worked for 2 months within a domiciliary care setting, providing personal care support and respite care to children with special educational needs and/or physical disabilities. I have also worked within primary and secondary schools, both mainstream and SEN, as a supply teacher/TA. I also have 1 to 1 tutoring experience up to GCSE level so I will be able to help out with homeschooling if required.
My Qualifications
I have recently graduated with a 2:ii from a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science degree. I have 3 A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as 10 GCSEs at grades 6-8.
