My Summary

My Experience

I worked in two nurseries, both as bank staff, one of them I was placed in the baby room and the other in the toddler room, but as I was bank staff I got an array of responsibilties in the other rooms as well. I also cleaned the rooms, gardens and kitchen in one of my roles as bank staff. I nannied for a single mother since March, caring for her child with extra support needs and caring for her dog while she was at work, which would sometimes mean I would stay overnight. I was a babysitter in the years I couldn't have a job working from 2017-2020, I tutored the children as well as babysat, proving educational activities, help with homework and revision support. I also was a Young Leader with the girl guides, where I would run sessions across the city. In my degree, I also was on placement with Martenscroft nursery for my final project, and through my foundation year, I got to grow some of my skills in my childcare education.

My Qualifications

I achieved a pass in all 9 of my GCSEs. With a 7 in Maths, 6 in English and 8 in my Sciences. My optional subjects were History, French and Art which I passed with high grades. In A levels, I achieved a B in Politics, History and Religious Studies. I did a year of Economics but had to drop it due to COVID issues. I completed the Early Years and Childhood Studies Foundation Year with each module with a 1st or a 2:1 at MMU. I will graduate in 2026 for my Education degree with MMU.
