Hello! My name's Kate and I'm an artist and teacher based in Hackney, London. I've been teaching for the past 6 years and I love working with children. As an artist, I'm able to provide fun arts and crafts activities as well as tutoring services. I have a full enhanced DBS check.
My Experience
I've got 6 years worth of teaching experience, predominantly with children aged 5-18, though I have also worked with younger children. I've been head of art at a summer school for the past two years, working mainly with children aged 7-12, and I've also run art after-school clubs in primary schools around London. I've also taught video to teenagers with additional needs with a charity I work for, I've taught art therapy for the NHS, and am a qualified Arts Advisor. I also hold a 120-hour TEFL qualification and can support your child with their English if this is not their first language.
