Hello! My name is Gracie and I am 18 and incredibly excited about the prospect of becoming a professional in the childcare field, with a focus on early years education.
When it comes to childcare, my approach leans towards the Montessori method, allowing children to naturally develop their skills and nurturing their confidence in a way that suits their individual needs. I have taken a course in childhood nutrition and I take great pride in cooking and baking, and I'd be more than happy to prepare wholesome meals for the children under my care, actively involving them in the process.
As a babysitter, I prioritize the happiness and comfort of the children above anything else. I strive to be patient and understanding, always trying my best to see things from their perspective to provide the necessary comfort and support they may require. It brings me joy to see children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
To further enhance my skills in childcare, I am continuously taking online courses, and I plan to begin an apprenticeship at a nursery in the new school year.

My Experience
As a babysitter, I've had the privilege of looking after a wonderful to ddler named Arlo since he was just 7 months old. Watching him grow and develop into the funny little boy he is becoming has been incredibly l rewarding and it made me realise how much I enjoy caring for children!
I’ve also cared for my cousins (E and D) a number of times, from 2 and 4 - 8 and 10, one of which has a severe peanut allergy. Not only do I ensure they have a wonderful time but I understand the seriousness of E’s allergy and have been shown a number of times what do do in case of an emergency and how to avoid one occurring in the first place.
My Qualifications
In addition to my experience as babysitter, I’ve also taken a number of online courses to improve the experience your children will receive when booking me! This includes:
ADHD: Everyday Strategies for Elementary Students
Child Nutrition and Cooking
Level 2 Food and Hygiene
Paediatric First Aid (this was an online course, I am not a certified first aid practitioner, but I still have the knowledge needed to care for a child in an emergency!)
Epilepsy Awareness
Anaphylaxis Awareness
My Availability
I’m hoping to start an appre nticeship at a nursery so day-shifts will be rare for me, weekends and evenings I will always be able to do though! Should there be any issues I will be sure to let you know at least a day in advance if I am able to.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
As well as my hourly rate, travel must be comped if it is necessary, this will usually be around £2-£5 if stagecoach buses run near your area. I will walk as much of the journey as I can if this if a viable option.
