About Me
I am a qualified teacher of 8 years, this September marks my 9th class. I have worked in local Worthing primary schools in all key stages. I currently work part time in Early Years and KS1, giving me time on Thursdays and Fridays to explore new avenues and adventures!
I am experienced in teaching phonics, early reading and mathematics as well as upper KS2 and can support with SATs preparation.
I am kind, reflective and organised and I love to teach and plan creatively. Teaching is a wonderful job and I feel very privileged to have worked with so many children and families over the years.
My Experience
8 years teaching across year 5, year 2 and EYFS. 4 years in senior and 7 years in subject leadership. Prior to teaching I worked in a nursery part time.
My Qualifications
I studied at the University of Winchester and qualified in 2015 with a BEd in Primary Education with QTS. I have first aid in the workplace and undertake regular safeguarding training as part of my current teaching job. I have recently trained in a mathematics mastery approach and have a deep understanding of building successful foundations for pupils in mathematics. I have Read Write Inc. phonics training.
My Availability
I am available most evenings except Mondays. I am free Thursdays and Fridays all day. I may also be able to do Saturday mornings if required.
