About Me
I am a babysitter/ nanny with 10 years experience working with children. Additionally, I am a yoga teacher and have been teaching privately, in studios, gyms and at festivals for a couple of years. I first learnt yoga in primary school and I'm so grateful to have been gifted with these tools at such a young age.
In May I returned from an 8-month epic adventure around Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Laos. During this time, I completed a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation course and stayed in remote villages with ethnic minorities.
Since returning to the UK I am enthusiastic about reconnecting to my local community. I have genuine ambition to help others and I take great satisfaction from being of service. In pursuit of my own health and happiness, I am committed to the wellbeing of others and particularly love the company of children. I believe that it is the relationships we cultivate which give our life meaning and I aim to live by the ethos of love, kindness, generosity, and empathy.
My Experience
- I was a babysitter throughout my teens and have over 10 years experience caring for children.
- I have been to Switzerland as a nanny for 3 young children, my primary role was caring for the youngest, a 3 year old girl, including cleaning, dressing, feeding and entertaining her.
- I worked for several years at kids out of school clubs. My responsibilities included creating games and activities for the children, such as baking and crafts; handling admin and payments and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children.
- Additionally, I worked as a tutor for children preparing for entrance exams. I would mark their papers and offer guidance with their studying.
My Qualifications
I have a level 4 diploma for my 500hr British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Teacher training.
My Availability
I am still working as a yoga instructor but currently I am mostly covering for classes so I am I able to be flexible.
