About Me
Positive, motivated and patient childcare worker with a passion/natural skill for my job. I have mainly worked with SEND children on a 1-1 basis for the last 4 years and have most recently worked in a SEND school on a 1-1/small group basis. I have also worked in mainstream schools/nurseries with neurotypical children.
I have basic makaton skills, and aim to learn more signs every day..
Most recently been a Nanny for a 3 year old boy,
this has now ended as of September 2023 and I am available for an immediate start!
My Experience
I have been working in childcare since February 2017, and have 6 and a half year’s experience.
I have experience caring for children aged 3 months - 16 years old.
I have also got high experiences working with SEND children, particularly Autism, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy *ages 2-16.*
I always work with children and parents/carers, to make sure I am following current interests and developmental/educational needs.
I always ensure I have planned activities for children and back-up options where plans may not be possible. I ensure to communicate effectively with the parents/carers for permission and preferences for any activities.
I have experience working in Primary and secondary schools, nurseries and out-of-school clubs, as well as nannying/babysitting.
3 ASD / ADHD sisters so personal as well as professional experience with SEND.
Alongside Nannying, I can also do general housekeeping/household tasks- (make/prep meals, do laundry, wash/put away dishes, change beddings, make beds, hoover, dust, etc..).

7:30 am - 5pm (this is just prefered!! My times are negotiable!)

Parents to re-emburse/pay in advance for any expenses spent on the child/children.
*I understand some parents/carers struggle financially and don’t get much or any support. I am quite willing to take on children for a lower fee for these specific parents/carers*
