My Experience
I Have 6 years' worth of hands-on experience working with children, ages 12 Months to 12 Years, working as a gymnastics coach. This role gave me the ability to understand children of different ages' feelings, needs, and fears, demonstrating empathy and support. I used effective communication, where the child feels heard, valued, and comfortable expressing themselves.
My Enthusiasm and Commitment towards children led me to decide my future career choice in Play Therapy. I am currently a second-year student studying Early Childhood Studies BA(Hons) at Nottingham Trent University.
Throughout my current studies, I participate in 6 weeks of Placement a year to gain more Hands-On Learning providing me with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. This practical experience is invaluable for understanding how child development theories and concepts work in practice. I have also been able to utilize essential skills, such as communication, observation, and problem-solving, which are crucial for working effectively with children and families. I have also developed a sense of professionalism.
I have recently been asked to be a Personal Assistant for a youth with Down syndrome. My visits with him so far have enabled me to become more adaptable and flexible in my approach as I learn to adjust to the individual needs and preferences of each child with disabilities. I have also learned how to manage challenging behaviors and implement positive behavior support strategies becomes a valuable skill when working with children with disabilities.

I am committed to maintaining a healthy work-life-study balance, and I understand the importance of planning and time management. I'm open to discussing my availability for work or other commitments.
I prioritize my academic pursuits and maintain a schedule to excel in my coursework. My availability is primarily structured around my classes and study sessions, Which are Monday through to Wednesday 10 am-2 PM.

- Babysitting from £10.20 per hour
My Current Fee is just over the National minimum wage for age 21. I believe my skill set and flexibility reflects this Fee.
