My Summary

My Experience

I have over 3 years experience working with children as a service provider but also in casual settings. I have been a Senior Nursery Nurse in a nursery for almost 2 years where my role is to lead/supervise and care for both 2-3 and 3-5 age children across two rooms. These are known as Rainbows and Preschool room. From this experience I have extended knowledge on the EYFS curriculum as I support children on a daily basis to work towards achieving targets in relation to their learning and development. I also am a Designated Safeguarding Lead at my setting. My role is to take care of any concerns, potential risks and creating plans to ensure the safety of all children is paramount and maintained. Due to being a DSL for an extended period of time, I have undertaken various amounts of training in relation to safeguarding to ensure I am fully equipped to identify and manage any arising and present safeguarding concerns at my setting. I have also cared for children in a casual setting before my current role such as as babysitting family members. This experience lasted for over a year where my duties were to make simple meals, create entertainment (exciting play and activities) , support toileting and personal care and to ensure the children were safe and cared for.

My Qualifications

Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
Level 1 in Health and Safety.
Paediatric first aid trained.
Designated Safeguarding lead.
DBS check.
Special educational needs experience.
Experience across all aged children 0-5.
Food safety qualification.
Fire safety and manual handling qualification.

My Availability

Available Monday to Thursday early mornings to late evenings as I appreciate and consider the need for babysitters to be flexible to the families needs. Therefore, days and hours are negotiable.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
