About Me
Hello,
My name is Jessica Redhead and I live in Earl Shilton with my husband, our 2 year old son and Cocker Spaniel.
I believe that all children should learn through having fun and being curious! I incorporate a lot of messy, sensory play and outdoor play. I follow child led learning, as I think it is so important to nurture a child's interests and imagination.
We have a lovely playroom which leads out into our back garden, both of which have got a lot of toys and activities for learning and playing! There is a shaded area in the summer which has a mud kitchen, sandpit, water tables and a mini trampoline.
My son has allergies to Milk and Egg, which he has had since birth, so I have a lot of experience with this. We are an Egg free setting and I will include any other foods/materials that your child is allergic to. I also have EpiPen training as part of my Paediatrics First Aid Training.
I provide home cooked meals and healthy snacks, included in the hourly rate. I can provide food for allergies and dietary requirements.
I offer before and after school drop off and pick ups at St Simon and St Jude Primary School.
My Experience
I have a 2 year old son and I really enjoy watching him grow and learn, I feel very fortunate to be a part of that.
I used to babysit for several families (including newborns), and also volunteered at a youth centre, so I have experience with children of all ages.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid Trained
Childcare at Home Training (including Safe Sleep, Safeguarding, EYFS and Food Hygeine)
Enhanced DBS check for myself and my husband
BA in English and Drama
My Availability
I have spaces for under 5's on a Monday and Thursday.
I also have 3 spaces for before and after school drop off and pick ups at St Simon and St Jude Primary School on Monday and Thursday.
