About Me
Hi! I'm Lulu and I'm looking for babysitting and tutoring work. I can teach French and English Literature to A-Level standard, History and Spanish to GCSE standard, and Maths and general Sciences up to KS3.
My Experience
I've had multiple local babysitting jobs, looking after children from ages 6-12 for whole days or just evenings. I have also worked with the organisation ElmbridgeCan back home and tutored a 12-year-old Syrian refugee on Zoom for just over 3 months, focussing primarily on progress with English, Maths and general Sciences.
I've been a volunteer at Brownies, looking after girls aged 7-10 on Monday evenings for 3 months. I've also had the opportunity to do some work shadowing at local primary schools, assisting children on a 1 to 1 basis and observing teaching methods. Most recently, I've filled in as a temp at a nursery for 2 weeks, looking after children from 6 months to 4 years old for whole days.
These experiences have confirmed my desire to do a PGCE in the future and become a teacher; I've found my time working with children extremely rewarding and enjoyable.
My Qualifications
I received 10 9s and 2 A*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level in History, English literature, French and Spanish. I am in my second year studying French at Oxford University.
