Hi, I'm Mia, I am a 20 year old student studying English Literature at the University of Leeds. I am highly experienced in childcare as I have been babysitting children from newborn to age 10 for 4 years. As well as being competent and reliable, I am also fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese and am able to communicate to children/parents in both. I am extremely bubbly, friendly, and responsible.
My Experience
I have been babysitting children aged newborn to 10 for 4 years. I started helping my sister look after her two sons (age 7 and 3) since they were born. I then went onto looking after neighbour's and family friend's children. I had my first official childcare job when i was 16, looking after a family of 2 children (age 5 and 8) for 2 years. I would spend full days, afternoons, mornings, and sometimes overnight shifts with the children, helping them with their homework, whilst creating a safe and fun environment with outdoor and indoor activities. I have also received high grades in both GCSEs and A-levels so I am able to help with tutoring/homeschooling.
My Qualifications
First aid trained, newborn experience, high grades in GCSEs and A-levels.
My Availability
I am very flexible and I am happy to do last minute or emergency babysitting as well as regular planned babysitting.
