About Me
I am a second year student at University of Bristol studying Physiological science, i plan on continuing to do a masters as a Physician Associate . Originally from Brighton, I am currently living in Redland and loving life in Bristol. I am a confident, empathetic person with great people skills and I absolutely love working with children! I have an older brother, and many younger cousins which i have often had the responsibility of looking after.
My Experience
I have a vast experience working with children. I volunteered with my previous theatre company helping teach special needs children speech and drama skills, I also completed work experience in a school for children with special needs. I have worked in a Care Home, Woking with residents with both dementia and nursing needs. On my gap year, I volunteered in Sri Lanka teaching English to young children and spending time in the nursery’s and preschools further enhancing my communication skills. I recently spent the Summer working at a beach cafe, serving family’s and earning great people skills. The previous summer, i spent working as an RDA (Radiographic departmental assistant) in which I completed my ILS training (intermediate life saving).
My Qualifications
9 GCSE’s (B-A*). Biology, History and Psychology 3xA’s. ILS trained (intermediate life saving training).
My Availability
I am very flexible, with most mornings being free. I am unavailable Tuesday/Thursday evenings 6pm onwards and Wednesday afternoons due to commitment to sports team training (Lacrosse). Weekends are also available with advance notice.
