Community is something I greatly value and treasure - the fundamental of a community is the children, so I strive to provide all my support. I aim to do this, by pursuing a career in Child Psychology (I am currently studying Psychology at Sixth Form).
My childcare experiences have left me sentimental, I wish to provide children with happy memories to cherish and confidence. Notions I received from my babysitter in my childhood. I believe there is nothing more rewarding than enabling self-discovery in a child. While I may not be highly qualified, I carry the love, further experience, of an older sibling and the care of an older cousin. Children often confide in me as I’m not at an age too far from theirs, often seeing me as a comfort that will understand.
My Experience
Aside from being the middle child and the oldest cousin, I used to frequently babysit for a family friend. A girl aged 4 and a boy aged 6. I tutor occasionally to help with English GCSEs. I also help in building year 7’s (11-12) reading abilities!
