About Me
Hi! My name is Satnam. I live within the Edenthorpe area with my husband and two young boys.
I am currently working as a HLTA within in a primary school setting. I have required different skills and techniques to provide children to with many different leaving opportunities to push through and thrive to achieve their full potential.
My main focus this year has been phonics, following the RWI programme I have enable children to learn all sounds and to be able to read with confidence and fluency. Providing each child with their individual targets, providing them with good support and continuity has enabled me to help children with mixed abilities to reach Thier full potential and progress to the next stage.
I work alongside theKS1 leader and head phonics lead of the school and coach and train other members of staff.
I can provide a 30 minute session for £20. Or a 45 minute session for £25.
This session can be done online via a zoom call or at my house on a Monday.
My Experience
I have worked in a private day nursery as a senior practitioner and room leader for 5 years. Providing children with a rich learning environment which enabled them to thrive through their early years. Building positive and strong relationships with parents. Working together to create the best outcomes for all the children. This also helped me work with the settings EYP to create the best learning environments for the children, following the EYFS framework to track and monitor each learning goal.
I am currently working alongside reception and year1/2 during phonics, English and Maths. I also train and coach other TAs with certain areas. I feel I have the best potential to further my skills and help other children too.
