My Experience

From the age of 15, I have regularly babysat for members of my local community, including family members, family friends, and friends of friends who have recommended me to other people.

I also studied Level 3 Child Development at Brockenhurst College where I achieved a triple distinction. This course involved me enduring in over 300hours of childcare experience, including placements in nurseries, pre-schools, and primary schools.

Since then I have had experience working with special needs children due to being a carer for a young boy with cerebral palsy for approximately 8 months. This included seeing to his personal care, tube feeding, and entertaining.

For the last 2 summers, I have been an au pair in the south of France for an English family with 3 children (the children are 2, 4, and 11). I integrated into the family and cared for the children alongside their Mother. My role included supporting the children with their morning and evening routines, entertaining them at home and on days out, occasionally cooking, and ensuring their overall safety.

I am First Aid Trained and feel confident looking after young children unsupervised.
