I come from a warm and close-knit family, and our family home is nestled on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Growing up, I was fortunate to have the company of four siblings, and our household was always bustling with the joyful chaos of numerous beloved animals. Needless to say, I am quite accustomed to the lively and spirited atmosphere of a bustling family home. A few years ago, my partner and I made the decision to embark on a new chapter in our lives. We relocated to the Bath to savour its rich history and natural beauty and fully immerse ourselves in the pursuit of knowledge, expand our professional networks and lay the foundation for our careers. It, in turn, inspired me to go back into education and work towards my degree. This change has allowed us to create a space for personal and professional growth while also not being too far from home. Looking ahead, we are excited about the prospects that the future holds. Eventually, I would love to explore and travel to different countries while working remotely on my own marketing business.
My Experience
My initial expedition into babysitting commenced with the care of my younger siblings, who are currently aged 7 and 12. I assumed their primary caregiving responsibilities, providing round-the-clock support during the summer months within our family home. This entailed the full spectrum of caregiving duties, encompassing meal preparation, household upkeep, and chauffeuring all three siblings to various clubs and activities, including school and birthday parties. Growing up on the Isle of Wight, I quickly learned the significance of community bonds, where babysitting services are in high demand as soon as one comes of age. I have had the privilege of caring for children ranging in age from 16 months to 12 years. These responsibilities entailed daytime commitments from roughly 9 AM to 5 PM, involving meal preparation, organizing activities, and overseeing bedtime routines when engaged during the evenings. For several consecutive summers until I reached the age of 18, I actively contributed to the local summer school program as an activities leader and group leader. In this capacity, I dedicated approximately 6 hours each day to supervising children between the ages of 4 and 11 within a school environment. My role primarily involved guiding children through various creative activities and fostering a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for their overall well-being.
My Qualifications
I do not currently have any childcare qualifications. All of my experience has been through family or friends. However I do attend university working towards completing my Bachelors degree.
My Availability
Free all throughout the week other then during the day on TUESDAY and THURSDAY.
