About Me
I am currently studying for my PGCE and QTS through the Schools Direct program. I am currently placement in a Reception classroom and my second placement will be in a Special setting. These are both unsalaried placements and so I am looking for part time work where I can continue to work in the field I love and use my expertise and develop my skills.

My Experience
. 6 years experience working in a school setting as a 1-2-1 support assistant, classroom teaching assistant and as of this year, a trainee teacher. I have worked in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2. I have experience with supporting children with both learning and routine daily tasks. I have extensive knowledge on the National Curriculum for KS1 and EYFS as well as both ‘Development Matters’ and ‘Birth to 5’ documents.
. 5 years experience working in an after school provision. I have experience in making a range of hot and cold snacks for children, interacting with children through play to aid their development, supporting them with their homework and after school tasks.
. Experience working with children with SEN needs. I have worked with a range of children with differing needs, these mainly include dyslexia, autism and ADHD. I have also supported a children with physical disabilities, administering medication and supporting them with physio therapy.
. 3 years experience teaching dance.
. 8 years experience babysitting for friends and family, including overnights.
