I’m Joe!! I have two young cousins of my own who are three and 18 months respectively. I have an enhanced DBS check because of my experience in working with children and am well-versed in dealing with childcare needs. I am enthusiastic, fun, and always willing to help!!
My Experience
I have volunteered with Essex Libraries during the Summer Reading Challenge multiple times, which involved talking with a variety of children from ages 2-11 years about the books they had read. I am therefore experienced in conversing with and entertaining children to keep them engaged and their attention focused. I have also worked extensively at Barracudas Activity Day Camps as an Activity Leader - leading children aged 4-12 years in various activities such as Arts & Crafts, Drama, Sports, and many more. This experience means I am not only well-versed in devising activities to entertain children and keep them occupied for extended periods of time, but also trained in child safeguarding and safety. I also have two young infant cousins of my own - and I enjoy spending time with them!!
My Qualifications
I have eleven GCSEs at grade 9 and one further at grade 8. I also have four A-Levels at A*A*AA. I am currently studying for a degree in English at the University of Cambridge.
