Hi! I’m Amie, I am a 21 year old individual with a passion for childcare. Although I don’t have massive amount of experience this is a career I am keen to grow my knowledge within.
I am a hard working individual who enjoys any challenge that is brought my way, I always do each job to my best ability and thrive to do the best rarely turning a hand to most activities.
My Experience
I have a handful of experience currently and my knowledge is constantly growing. My experience began when I was 15 years old, I started babysitting for friends and family with children from different age ranges and with complex needs. I followed my passion and took GCSE child care which helped me understand different needs children may need.
After completing my GCSE child care exams, I headed straight for an apprenticeship in a child minding setting - I did many activities such as feeding children, changing children, creating fun and educational activities and helping children learn new skills.
I have also worked with vulnerable older children with more complex needs than others, I am very patient and willing to learn interested and different things that may help these individuals. I enjoy building secure bonds that are full of fun, trust, care and compassion.
My Qualifications
I completed my GCSE Childcare in Secondary school, whilst also babysitting on the side.
