I am a 3rd-year exchange student from Canada, currently studying business at Univistery of Edinburgh. My courses are light and I am looking for something to do in my spare time.
I absolutely LOVE children. I was a nanny/regular babysitter for two families at home and am looking to find the same here in Edinburgh. My experience ranges from newborns to young teens, allowing me to adapt my approach to each age group. I take pleasure in organizing engaging games and activities tailored to the children I nanny for (park, library, etc.) and I'm more than willing to assist with homework. Additionally, I'm comfortable in the kitchen/tidying efforts and very familiar with managing bathtime and bedtime routines!
My Experience
- 3 years nannying for 2 twin girls (age 2 when I started)
- Have worked overnights, up to 3 days at a time
- Completed a 1-year babysitting course
- 5+ years of babysitting experience for children aged 1-13
- Was a camp counselor for 4 years, responsible for creating games, activities, and fun for groups of 10+ children, while ensuring health and safety
