About Me
I pride myself in having a holistic and therapeutic approach that encourages a child's independence and autonomy whilst also being able to act in loco parentis and support a child with all of their needs.
I am an excellent cook and have good knowledge of healthy and nutritious meals for children.
I love being outdoors and playing and releasing my inner child to really focus on a child centred approach. I love reading, learning and exercise such as yoga, and the mindfulness that comes along with that.
My Experience
I am experienced in looking after children since a young age and I went on to gain my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood in Society at the University of Worcester.
When I was younger I always offered private babysitting and I am now a Parent Support Worker for a UK charity. I have worked in nurseries, an independent therapeutic school for children with emotional needs, as a nanny both live in and live out and I have experience in family support work.
I am knowledgeable on child development and promoting learning for life in the everyday moments.
My Qualifications
A 2:1 undergraduate BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood in Society.
My Availability
At the moment my availability is some evenings and weekends. Some weeks I am able to do more and my availability does vary.
