About Me
Hi. My name is Carla and I am from Ireland. I am 26 years old. I moved to London 2 years to do a masters in web design/development. Upon finishing my studies, I decided to stop full time employment in order to focus on my long term career goals. At the minute I am working on a portfolio of small web projects to help me find a job in my field of studies in the future. I am very flexible at the minute and open to some part time child minding. I am willing to do school drop offs and pick ups. I can also cook for your child and do homework with them after school until you get home from work. I would be free on weekends to occasionally babysit also.
My Experience
I am the eldest of 2 younger brothers, which meant that I a lot of responsibility was placed on me while growing up! I have babysat for family friends since the age of 16. I currently offer German tutoring to a 12 year old girl, and I also taught English to children between the ages of 3 and 13 in the south of Spain. In 2022, I did some housekeeping and child minding for a couple while I was studying. They had a 1 year old boy and 3 year old girl.
My Qualifications
I don't hold any childcare qualifications. I have a language degree and a masters in web design.
My Availability
Very flexible at the moment. Happy to help with school drop offs and collections, and occasional babysitting on weekdays and the weekend. If I am required to do school runs, I would prefer a family that lives near to me as it will save me travel time.
