About Me
I have a strong background in teaching SEN students 1-2-1 inspiring them to reach their true potential. I understand the importance of keeping children engaged and entertained therefore devising fun activities that are also stimulating and educational- based, setting realistic targets for each individual child, as well as using interactive methods such as sports, reading stories, role-play and outdoor activities that contribute to their physical and emotional well-being.
I believe I can help implement routines and create educational activities to build confidence, as well as teach children skills under the Early Years Foundation stage.
Because of working within SEN environments which consisted of Autism, Learning difficulties, Bipolar I believe I can contribute in establishing structured routines and can assist with school projects, school runs, liaising with teachers and arranging playdates. I have over the years successfully established daily routines, helping to reduce anxiety and stress for children, teenagers who required extra emotional and physical support.
My Experience
Over the years, I have worked in different schools
working with toddlers with speech impediment who required extra support and a method of building thier confidence in and outside the classroom. I have worked in primary schools where I assisted the teacher in teaching various curriculums, from mathematics, science, to life skills.
I have a passion for an active lifestyle, thus I believe I am well-equipped to providing a nurturing and engaging environment and to engage children in physical activities and promote an active lifestyle.
I have ten year's experience working in the healthcare sector; from hospitals, children's care homes, schools and private 1-2-1 with individuals within their homes. My experience covers the fields of Mental Health, ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, Learning difficulties, Down syndrome, Deaf-blindness and much more. I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social care gained from the University of Central Lancashire.
In my current work placement, my duties include organising trips to museums, day centres, theme parks,
bike rides and many other activities. In addition to this, I manage and maintain a balanced diet, daily routines and also a weekly planner in order to make small targets more achievable.

Health and Social care level 4, CPR, Emergency First Aid, Managing violence and aggression, Safeguarding children's awareness, Food and Safety level 2 Awareness, Positive Behaviour Support & Active Support Strategies, Care certificate, Moving and Handling, Administrating Medication, Infection Control Awareness, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberties.
