About Me
I am fun, loving 43 year old mum of three and always enjoying the time I spend with children. I am.kind and nurturing and just love being around children young and old and always been told I have a natural talent and still get called the baby whisperer now.
I had my children young and am the proud mother, and raised, three children of my own who are now all adults.
I am very easygoing however also aware of how important routine and boundaries are so able to implement them with ease.
I regularly care for my four year old goddaughter and we enjoy getting out into nature, spending 1-1 time at home doing activities such as baking, puzzles and crafts and also enjoy accessing community resources such as story time in the library and stay and play sessions as I see the importance of socialising with her peers.
I love animals and own two dogs and one cat and love getting out and about for walks.
I hold a valid Enhanced DBS.
I hold a full clean UK drivers license with business car insurance, a confident driver and own a car.
My Experience
I have 26 years of experience (with achieving a BA honours Social Work Degree) working with children, young people and their families where I have developed essential skills and knowledge - this is through personal experience of raising three of my own children and professional work experience.
I have experience in working with children, young people with diagnosed disabilities and challenging behaviour.
I currently volunteer at the afterschool kids club ran by my church once a week where I am hands on with the children and part of the planning and delivery of activities.
