My Experience

In my role as a Nanny Housekeeper, I was responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the household while providing loving care for the children.

My responsibilities encompassed a diverse range of tasks, including collecting the children from school, attending school meetings, and organising play dates and after-school activities. I ensured that the children's schedules were well-managed and that they had enriching experiences both inside and outside the home.

I facilitated reading practice and homework sessions, fostering their academic development and instilling a love for learning. I took pride in creating a supportive environment where the children could thrive academically and develop strong study habits.

I organised arts and crafts activities at home, stimulating the children's imagination and encouraging their creative expression. I monitored their screen time to ensure a healthy balance and promoted outdoor play and exploration.

I managed various household tasks, including cooking delicious and nutritious family meals, keeping the children's living spaces tidy, and handling logistics such as food shopping and organising deliveries. I looked after the household clothing, overseeing tasks such as dry cleaning, mending, wardrobe rotations, and replenishing.

I assumed full responsibility for the children and household when the parents travelled. This included precise bottle feeding schedules with night feeds for the newborn.

I also took care of the family dog, ensuring he was walked and fed.

Overall, my role as a Nanny Housekeeper was multifaceted and rewarding. I brought warmth, organisation, and creativity to the household, creating a supportive and harmonious environment where the children could flourish academically, creatively, and emotionally at the same time as making sure that the house ran efficiently.

• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

I am happy to negotiate but in my recent role I was paid £18 per hour.
