My son has been doing online tutoring for maths with Natalie for a year. He got on well and really liked her. However a number of issues with meetings starting late (or in some instances not at all) over the year, due to lack of communication/technical. Initially as a parent I had feedback and son was given homework. This stopped approx Sept 25 until I queried why homework was not being set. No feedback voluntarily provided on feedback (having had tutors for another child it’s standard to get this after every session). Take care with the terms and conditions, school holidays, public holidays are not considered (there was an expectation for my son to attend a session 5pm Xmas Eve). I ended the agreement a week ago as we have moved to a local tutor and a week after sending an email confirming this I have not even received an acknowledgment (bar auto plan cancellation)from Natalie. Didn’t work for us , lack of communication which def needs to be worked on. Disappointing and frustrating for my son who now has to build a relationship with another tutor.

on 18/02/2026:
Dear Parent,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry for the frustration this experience has caused. Teaching your son has been a pleasure, and we take all feedback seriously.
We’d like to explain the recent lack of communication. At the time you sent your cancellation request, your tutor faced complications following eye surgery, requiring urgent medical care and was medically unfit to work or respond.
Once we learned of your decision, the managing co-owner promptly cancelled the plan to prevent further charges. We could not send a personal reply from your tutor, so you only received our cancellation notice, and we apologise if this felt impersonal.
To clarify, your plan was one hour every two weeks, and no pause had been requested during school holidays. Lessons continue on a rolling basis unless a pause or cancellation is requested, including school and public holidays, as many families maintain tuition for continuity. Pause requests are always accommodated.
Regarding feedback and homework, we fully agree these are important. Post lesson feedback is always happily provided when requested, and parents who ask for updates consistently receive them, unfortunately this was not requested.
A homework concern was previously raised and promptly addressed. The last homework was assigned in December, before the tuition was requested to be paused. Following that, homework was limited because the December lesson was cancelled, and as a result, January’s homework was skipped. Additionally, your tutor’s surgery in Jan led to further necessary and timely cancellations, leaving fewer lessons in which to assign work.
During this period, a cover tutor was offered to maintain consistency in your son’s lessons; however, this was declined per your request. Consequently, lessons were rescheduled following the tutor’s recovery.
We aim to provide consistent, high-quality support and fair policies, but recognise clearer communication can prevent misunderstandings and are reviewing our processes to improve.
We are glad to hear your son has found a local tutor and we sincerely wish him every success with his maths studies. Building a new tutor relationship can take time, but we hope it proves to be a positive step for him.
Thank you again for your honest feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
NEA Learning Management

I use nealearning for my twin 8 year old daughters, and I’m really happy with Esi and Natalie’s service. They tailored their lessons around the girls and their knowledge & personalities. They are incredibly flexible and really show care in their teaching. My children really like both tutors and it’s great to see them grow in their confidence with maths and English. I have already recommended them to two other parents, so definitely give them a try if your thinking of a patient and professional tutoring service.

I reached out to Nat and Esi a couple of months before my daughter’s 11+ exams because I wanted targeted support to strengthen her Maths. They paired her with Aditya, and it was one of the best decisions we made during her preparation.
Aditya immediately identified the areas she struggled with and explained them in a way that finally made everything click. He simplified difficult concepts, built her confidence, and made each lesson engaging and effective.
The results speak for themselves — she passed both the Kent and Bexley tests, achieving full marks in the Kent Maths section. We could not be happier.
I’m truly grateful for the support from Nat and Esi, and especially Aditya. I highly recommend them to any parent looking for dedicated, high-quality 11+ Maths tutoring.

My son has been learning English and maths online with NEA, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The tutors are not only knowledgeable but genuinely committed to helping him grow. They tailor their teaching to his pace and needs, making complex topics feel manageable and even enjoyable.
The sessions are well-structured, engaging, and delivered with real care. His confidence has grown massively, especially in maths, where he used to struggle. NEA’s approach is professional yet personal—they really see the child behind the lesson.
Highly recommend to any parent looking for reliable, high-quality online tuition. NEA are excellent.

My child has really benefited from extra tutoring as she was struggling with her english & maths. It’s only been 3 lessons for each subjects and already I have seen the confidence and improvement.
Natalie & Hareem has been amazing and so supportive. They are patient with my child who has asd and does not make her feel any type of way when she doesn’t understand something. Instead, they take the time to explain and as a parent, I really appreciate this.

Natalie has tutored my son for the last few months just to get him ready for the 11+. Natalie was incredibly helpful with regards to us only wanting every other week and took our needs into consideration. My son loves his sessions with Natalie and really enjoys how patient and kind she is when explaining things. He said 'She doesn't make me feel stupid when I get something wrong'
Thank you so much for everything, Natalie :)

I cannot recommend my maths tutor highly enough! Their teaching style is incredibly clear, patient, and supportive, which made even the most challenging topics much easier to understand. They have a deep knowledge of the subject and always find a way to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to me.
Since starting lessons, my confidence and grades have improved significantly. They are always punctual, well-prepared, and genuinely care about my progress. What I appreciate most is how they tailor each lesson to my needs, making sure I fully grasp each topic before moving on.
If you’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also truly passionate about helping students succeed, this is the tutor for you. I’m very grateful for all the help and encouragement I’ve received — it’s made a huge difference in my academic journey

Since my 10 year daughter started her maths tutoring sessions with Natalie, she has been excelling in her studies. Natalie is consistent and very patient with explaining things in a way that adapts to my daughter's learning style. My daughter has said that Natalie takes her time to explain things very well and is able to ask her any questions at any time. My daughter's confidence has improved significantly which was reflected in her end of year reports from school. Since she started school, this has been the first time that she has been above expected in her maths report. Natalie is an amazing tutor and I am so happy that we have her to aid my daughter's studies.

From our very first interaction Natalie has had a warm welcoming. On our trail session there was an instant connection between Natalie and my son he was very comfortable and said he preferred the way she explained and demonstrated things more than his teachers at school.
He has developed a new found confidence in his maths and science work since working with Natalie.
I also appreciate that she takes time to provide feedback after every session which makes me feel included.
Overall I believe Natalie is an excellent teacher you would not be disappointed if you choose her for your child!
