Hello! My name is Edie, an 18 year old who grew up in Crouch End, North London with both my parents, my two older brothers and a dog. I went to school locally, and have recently successfully completed my A-Levels. I am currently a gap year student, having a place to study a BA in Politics and Sociology at Sheffield University in September 2025. My hobbies are walking my dog, hanging out with family and friends , and going to the gym.
My Experience
September 2022 - 2023. I collected an 8-year-old girl from school twice a week and looked after her in her own home. I took her to various activities, supervised playdates and prepared light meals.
June 2023 - present. I look after a 3 (started when 2) year old boy and 6 (started when 5) year old girl in their own home. I have babysat them during the day and the evening as and when needed for up to 4 hours at a time. I have also taken the girl to school in the mornings. My duties include looking after them, playing with them, changing the toddler's nappy, helping them with their activities and preparing food.
September 2023 - present. I have looked after a 3-year-old girl (previously 2) and a 7 (previously 6) year old girl. I started off as a babysitter in the evenings. I looked after them in their own home, made their dinner and put them to bed in the evenings. During the school holidays Easter 2024 and Summer 2024 I acted as a full-day nanny as and when needed (this summer I did that every day for a month). My duties included looking after them in their own home, taking them to various activities and outings, preparing their meals and supervising playdates - for one day I looked after 4 children. I also helped with homework and walked their dog. Some days I worked for over 12 hours, from the morning till evening as required by their parents.
I am passionate about childcare, and have a vast experience working with children from 2-8, through babysitting, nannying, school collections and drop offs.
I have also undertaken a voluntary work placement in a nursery with children from 6 months to 5 years.

I have 10 Gcse’s, all above level 6, and 3 Alevels at grades AAB
