About Me

Hi my name is Laura and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, I have ran my childcare business 'Tiny Tot's Childminding' for 13 years. I am 37 years old and live with my husband and 11 year old son, We live in Bradwell ( Just off Porthill bank) in a 3 bed semi-detached house, I have a large designated playroom which opens up on to a large fully enclosed garden. My last Ofsted inspection was in September 2018 for which I was graded GOOD in all areas .
My usual working hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am to 5pm and Tuesday 8am to 4pm as I am currently studying for an early years degree and attend university on a Tuesday evening .I may be able to start a little earlier or finish later if required. I currently look after 3 children under 5 , on very rare occasions I may have 4 children in order to cover continuity of care for parents who may have changes to working days. I like to have a balance of home days with the children and days out to give them a broad range of experiences, we attend boogie time sessions once a week and do lots of messy/sensory/creative play at home during the week, we enjoy lots of outdoor experiences to farms, lakes, country walks, local parks, sandpits, soft play areas in the winter, we access the outdoors dally.
we link up with local childminders to ensure the children gain experiences within larger groups of children as well as having lots of one to one with myself.
I work through the Early Years Foundation Stage with each child through play. Care and learning is tailored to each child's requirements, learning styles and interests ensuring that each child progresses and fully achieves their potential and has the best possible early learning experiences.
