About Me
My name is Emma and I have grown up with two younger siblings and have always looked out for them. From a young age I have always wanted to work with children. I have had the privilege of meeting and caring for so many children since I was the age of 16. I am very creative, patient, caring and love the outdoors. I have a very strong passion for the sport Baton Twirling and enjoy doing this in my free time.
My Experience
My experience with children ranged from children 0-12 over the last 6 years. I started off with casual babysitting jobs at 16 and then progressed to working in nurseries and schools and supporting children with Additional Support Needs. I then went traveling around Australia and was a nanny to two children for 6 months. On occasion I would also look after their cousins, two twin girls aged 6 months. I also ran baton twirling classes for children aged 2 years +
I have received a HNC Childhood Practice in 2020 and I’m about to begin my Open University experience to work towards gaining a BA(Hons) Educational Studies (Primary) and I have an up to date PVG and have been apart of the SSSC.
I have previously had a First Aid certificate however this is currently out of date but it’s certainly something I’m looking at updating.
