My Experience

Working with children over the past five years has taught me so much—not just about child development, but about the importance of patience, adaptability, and building genuine connections.

My time at Center Parcs gave me hands-on experience creating a safe and fun environment for children aged 3 months to 9 years. Leading both group and one-on-one activities, especially for children with additional needs, helped me develop strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to think on my feet.

At Wootton Lower School, I’ve learned how to support children in a classroom setting, tailoring learning to suit individual needs and working closely with teachers and SEN staff. This role has deepened my understanding of the early years and primary curriculum, and taught me how to use a variety of techniques to help children thrive both academically and emotionally.

Together, these experiences have shaped me into someone who’s calm under pressure, deeply caring, and always focused on helping children feel safe, confident, and supported.
