About Me
About Me
Hello! My name is Hana, and I’m passionate about working with children and building a long-term career as a full-time nanny. I have over four years of hands-on experience in various childcare settings, including nurseries, schools, and private babysitting roles. For the past two years, I’ve worked in a private educational environment where many of the children were cared for by nannies, which gave me even more insight into the role and deepened my desire to pursue it professionally.
I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, fully DBS checked, and have recently completed an Emergency Paediatric First Aid course (Level 3). These qualifications, combined with my practical experience, allow me to provide safe, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate care.
The majority of my experience has been with children aged 0 to 5 years old, supporting their early learning, routines, and overall development. I have also had opportunities to work with older children and am more than happy to care for children of any age.
Caring for children is something I’ve been drawn to from a young age, and becoming a nanny has always felt like the right path for me. I’m nurturing, reliable, and genuinely enjoy creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments for children to learn and grow. Whether it’s helping with daily routines, planning educational activities, or simply offering a warm, consistent presence, I take great pride in the work I do.
I’m currently looking to grow my experience and take the next step in becoming a dedicated, full-time nanny. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s a future I’m excited to build.
My Experience
All About My Experience
I have over four years of experience working in educational and childcare settings, including nurseries, primary schools, and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) environments. These roles have given me valuable insight into child development, learning support, and providing care tailored to individual needs.
I’ve recently completed my Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification at college, where I took part in a wide range of skill development activities. Throughout the course, I planned and delivered engaging, age-appropriate activities for children during my placements, supporting both their learning and personal development.
My studies also deepened my understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, helping me to confidently observe, assess, and support children’s progress across all areas of learning and development. I have gained a strong knowledge of key safeguarding legislation, including how to identify and respond to concerns to ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
Other areas I covered include promoting positive behaviour, understanding the importance of inclusive practice, health and safety in early years settings, and building strong professional relationships with both children and parents. These experiences have helped shape me into a confident, caring, and reflective practitioner.
In addition to my formal experience, I’m a proud aunt to two lovely children and have been involved in caring for them since I was nine years old. I’ve also taken on numerous babysitting jobs for family friends and local families, giving me further experience in home-based care and building trusted relationships with families in my community.
