• 4+ years experience of working with children and young people in mainstream and specialist educational settings. Most recently, I have worked as a Learning Support Assistant at a specialist SEMH school, and I am currently working as an Assistant at Zap Kids Club, a holiday club for children with profound SEN.
• 15+ years experience of being a carer for my sibling with profound, non-verbal autism. This has given me skills in overnight babysitting, personal care, feeding, and the use of communication strategies including Makaton and PECS.
