My Experience

I’ve been a young carer since I was 17, supporting both my grandma and younger brother, which has given me years of experience in caregiving. This has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills. In my spare time, I volunteer as a youth worker, which has allowed me to gain even more experience with children of different ages. From helping with activities to offering guidance and support, I’ve learned how to engage with children in a way that’s both fun and meaningful.

My Qualifications

I have a strong academic background, with GCSEs including five grade 7s, one grade 6, and one grade 8. I went on to complete A Levels in Chemistry (B), Biology (A), and Psychology (B), which have helped me build a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety. I also hold a St John Ambulance First Aid certificate, so I’m confident in responding calmly and effectively in emergency situations. I’m currently a university student and on a long summer break, which means I have plenty of availability and flexibility over the coming months.
