I’m a 28 year old with a passion for caring for children and bringing the fun and creativity. I’m friendly and polite, and will set a good example for your young ones. I’ve got a 2:1 Psychology degree (gained in 2019) at York St. John University. I love crafting, music and growing veg in my spare time. I used to play football for Leeds City girls and am always joining in for a kick about the children at work. I’m looking to gain more hours doing what I enjoy - looking after children!
My Experience
I currently work part-time as a Play Worker for a before and after school club, I have been there for 8 months. I have current experience working with special education needs (Autism and ADHD) as well as behavioural difficulties. The children I work with are pre-school and primary school age.
Additional experience looking after my niece, from birth to 2 years old. We love to role play!
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked and hold training in the following: first aid (babies, children, adults), safeguarding L3, food safety and hygiene L3, child development, introduction to EYFS, and SEND training provided by Dingley’s Promise charity.
I do not have an Early Years Educator level 3 qualification or NVQ, but am competent and confident in providing quality child care. I do not hold a driving licence but am experienced taking trips out using public transport.
My Availability
I am available Saturdays. Occasional Sundays.
