Hi, I am a 21-year-old graduate from the University of Birmingham, now living in Portsmouth. I am incredibly passionate about working with and caring for children of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy playing sports and active games with children, from football and rounders to imaginative, creative activities. My experience in previous roles has given me a vast repertoire of engaging activities - from arts and crafts to educational games that make learning fun. I can play multiple instruments and love incorporating music into childcare, whether that's singing songs (most of the time) or helping with music practice. Being a university graduate, I'm also more than happy to support children with their homework across all subjects, helping them build confidence in their learning while making it enjoyable.
My Experience
I have worked as a Camp Manager for Supercamps since March 2024, overseeing the daily care and activities for 60-100 children aged 3-12. I am experienced in supporting children with diverse medical needs and SEN requirements, ensuring every child feels included and safe. I also worked at a before/after school club from September 2024 to June 2025, further developing my skills in structured childcare environments. Additionally, I have personal babysitting experience with children of various ages, giving me well-rounded childcare expertise.
I hold a DBS certificate on the update service and a full paediatric first aid certification. My commitment to child safety was recognised when I received a regional award for excellent safeguarding knowledge following an evaluation by an external safeguarding company during my time at Supercamps.
I am now seeking a babysitting role closer to home, as the distance to my current camp position has become impractical. I am excited to bring my professional experience, qualifications, and genuine passion for childcare to support local families.
