My Experience
I went to my primary school for their last week and volunteered around all year groups where I had the role of a teaching assistant as I helped wherever it was necessary. During my time there I took out some children to read to me. I feel as though this helped me develop communication skills and understanding for how to act around di?erent types of people. This work experience made me feel independent but also showed that I can follow requests from others.
I’m a young carer for my elder sister who has special needs. I’ve developed extraordinary time management skills and understanding. This has caused me to become a well adaptable and organised person.
