My Experience
Over the school Easter and summer holidays of 2023, I worked as a babysitter/nanny for a family with 2 young children, aged 4&7. My responsibilities included providing exciting and educational activities throughout the day, preparing breakfasts and lunches, some personal care when necessary, and general supervision of the children. This job meant a lot to me as I formed such a strong bond with the whole family, and I enjoyed seeing the children develop even over such a short period of time. This job provided me with confidence in myself and my decisions, improved my multitasking skills and gave me an interest in working in childcare.
My Qualifications
I have previous experience in a nanny/ babysitting role. However no qualifications as I’m trying to gain more experience to go into a nursery practitioner job.
My Availability
I’d be looking for 30/40 hours a week of work but also happy to take on a part time role.
