Hi I'm Alisha! I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and mummy to two beautiful children. I have extensive experience working with children from birth to 12 years old through my years teaching and working in various nurseries/childcare settings. I am currently learning BSL and love teaching the children I work with to sign. I have experience working with children from all backgrounds and cultures and have extensive knowledge working with children who have English as an additional language.
My Experience
I’m a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with a First-Class Honours degree and broad experience working with children from birth to 12 years old. I’ve taught in both nursery and school settings, across inner-city and rural areas, and have a strong track record in supporting early learning, especially in phonics. I’ve worked with children who are deaf, children with special educational needs (SEN), and those learning English as an additional language (EAL). My approach is inclusive, nurturing, and focused on helping every child thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher. I hold a first class honours degree in Primary Education with QTS. I have specialisms in EYFS and History.
I am also pediatric first aid trained and hold a Philosophy for Children qualification.
I am committed to enhancing my personal and professional development and have completed a plethora of CPD child related course.
