My Experience
I started working in the educational field 11 years ago, tutoring whilst obtaining my level 3 at a pupil referral unit and delivering a structured artistic space for children to explore. Alongside this, I maintained retail positions that delivered training and apprenticeships to 16+ including functional skills English and Maths.
I have tutored throughout a few years in retail alone before returning to education where I worked as a 1:1 and teaching assistant, growing experience whilst working with the SENCO closely. I have worked across all year groups with particular attention to EYFS and KS1. I took voluntary redundancy at easter to pursue more private tutoring and alternative educational experiences throughout the last year of my degree. I have dedicated my previous 3 months to full time private tutoring within Caterham and connecting towns
My Qualifications
I am a trained level 3 SEN support assistance with plenty of experience and onto my third year of my primary education and pyschology degree. I have worked with all ages and many different circumstances. My qualifications range from 10+ GCSEs across a broad range of subjects and A level qualifications in Art, literature and photography. I have various hospitality and food industry related qualifications with experience teaching baking and small cooking projects to boost independence and life skills. I enjoy teaching creatively and encourage forest school activities such as natural art and bug hunts.
My Availability
My availability range is large however I do not wish to have it fully booked as I like to balance my time with activities with my children also. I currently have 2 preteen boys who have educational needs.
