About Me
Although people may be put off as i am young, i can assure you i always will be professional when it comes to a job. I enjoy working with children and have for a while- not just in a professional industry but through family and family ties. I am a big sister to 4 children, aged 6 and under and an older cousin to 2, aged one and 5. Im easy to talk to and am very understanding for any backgrounds or requirements needed for children- whether that be dietary restrictions or requirements- or scheduled days. I am very honest with my work and very respectful. I always try my hardest to meet the needs of anyone who i work for and put 100% into all my work. I do not smoke or vape so no one would ever have to worry about that being a hazard for me around children and i always try my best to wear the most modest but weather appropriate clothes i can.
My Experience
One of the experiences i have had is personal experience. I looked after the children in my family from newborn up to the age of 6 years old. With this i changed nappies, made bottles and bottle fed babies. I also organised little activities, made food at lunchtime for the older ones while constantly being interactive throughout the day.
Another one of my experiences was in a nursery apprenticeship. Here i learnt how to cope with SEN children. These children were between the ages of 6 months old and 4 years old. Not only did i get trained in safeguarding and SEN trained but i also learned coping strategies for all children when they are going through a hard time and how to adapt and cope in situations when emotional levels may be high. I cooked and cleaned around the nursery and had interactive play with the children which was both educational and very stimulating for them.
The final thing i have done related to childcare was working within the scouting industry as a young leader. I worked in the cub section, teaching children aged 8-10 1/2 how to do basic everyday things such as sewing, ironing and cooking. Not only this but i ran them through badge work- where they must complete certain tasks within a category in order to get a badge. For example: the first aid badge. With the first aid training i had gotten from also being in the scouting industry for 9 years, aspects of the basics were passed on through practical and theoretical work.
My Qualifications
i have been trained in childcare and first aid. I am also trained in safeguarding and within the SEN branch with coping strategies for children with additional needs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My fees are also pretty flexible- although i wouldn’t go down to less than £8 an hour. Anything more than what I’ve put on my rates would be greatly appreciated, however, just message me and we can discuss payment and when.
