Hi! I’m Becca, I'm 22 and and a DBS-checked babysitter with a background in supporting children with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and other SEND requirements. I’m trained in safeguarding (Level 2), paediatric first aid (St John’s Ambulance), and have a Level 1 qualification in British Sign Language.
I genuinely enjoy working with children and believe in creating calm, fun, and supportive environments where they feel safe and understood. Whether it's helping with homework, reading stories, or just playing games, I’m always happy to get stuck in and tailor my approach to each child’s personality and needs.
I currently work in a professional role during the week but love babysitting in my spare time — especially evenings and weekends. My Experience
Educational Support Officer – Rainhill High School
Worked closely with secondary school students (KS3 & KS4), particularly those with SEND needs. Helped create personalised support strategies within lessons, developed strong communication with pupils, and gained experience supporting neurodivergent learners. Held the role of Wellbeing Staff Officer for the SEND department there and was in close contact with parents.
Level 2 Safeguarding Certified & St John’s Ambulance Trained
Fully trained in child safety protocols and emergency response. Also hold a Level 2 Food Safety qualification and a full enhanced DBS certificate.
British Sign Language – Level 1
Completed an introductory qualification in signing and receiving skills — useful for communication with non-verbal or partially verbal children.
Additional Experience
Although my current full-time role is in marketing and administration, I have always enjoyed roles that involve helping others, particularly children whether that’s offering emotional support, encouraging learning, or simply creating a fun and safe environment where they can be themselves. I also am avaliable during babysitting for tutoring sessions specialising in English at KS2 and KS3 level, offering tailored academic support alongside care.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Rates
£10 per hour for babysitting
+£15 flat fee if tutoring is included during the babysitting hours (e.g. help with English homework or structured learning support)
