My Summary

My Experience

I have experience of working at a nursery as part of my college course placement, this was 9 months long and helped me boost my initiative, confidence and knowledge regarding children. I worked with children of all ages and needs, whether it was special needs or sensory issues. I supported groups of children with their daily routines at nursery, starting off with a morning dance to cheer them up, I also created unique activities everyday to support childrens learning and also so they can have fun. At snack time i would make crackers and cheese, fruits, vegetables, toast, juices and water, while also putting the dishwasher on after.

My Qualifications

I have a CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, where I completed 20 modules over 2 years and I achieved an A star at the end of this. Modules relevant to babysitting include, anatomy & physiology, safeguarding, human, growth and development, protection of children, young people and adults. These modules supported my learning of why it is importsnt for vulnerable individuals such as children to be safeguarded at all times and how to support each childs needs based on their lifestage and development.
