My name is Izzy and I am 21 years old. I recently graduated from the University of York with an English degree and have moved back home. As a new graduate I have lots of spare time that I would love to fill by helping others. Conveniently, I love children and am considering going into teaching after my year out! I also love animals, so the more the better!
My Experience
During my University studies I volunteered at a local primary school, acting as a classroom assistant for KS1 (a mix of year 1 and year 2 children). From this experience I not only gained hands on knowledge about teaching, but most importantly became comfortable and confident interacting with children, whether that be to help them with a problem, play with them, or diffuse a situation.
My Qualifications
First class English degree from the University of York, A*AA in A Level English, Geography and Philosophy and 11 GCSE’s including a 6 in Maths and 8 in English (both literature and language)
